A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Hilda Berzas Vizena, 89, at 10:30 AM Friday, March 21, 2014 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Ann's Mausoleum in Mamou, LA. Father Dustin Dought will officiate. Hilda passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She is survived by her son, Eric Vizena and his wife Patricia of Eunice; daughters, Loretta Finn of Mamou, Gail Duplechin and husband Bob of Mamou, Sandra Stonicher and husband David of New Iberia;, and Cheryl Vizena of Mamou; sister Dorothy Vizena; 17 grandchildren ; 36 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, Franks Berzas and Felicia Saucier, husband, Sammy Vizena; daughter, Jeanette Soileau; two granddaughters, Ilene Potter and Monica Uhlik; brothers, Elray and Allen Berzas; sisters, Orena Landreneau, Mary Berzas and Maxine Fontenot. Visitation begins on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 9:00 AM un tile 10:00 PM. The Catholic Daughter will pray the rosary on Thursday at 6 PM. Visitation Friday, March 21, 20104, from 8:00 AM until service time at 10:30 AM.
