Herbert John "Johnnie" Carrier passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, at the age of 68.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Jermaine Tezeno will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mathilda Cemetery in Eunice.

"Johnnie" is survived by his mother Margie Tate Carrier of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Diana Allison of Baton Rouge, Patricia Bellard of Baton Rouge, Ozanna Gardner and Larry of Baton Rouge, and Jeanne Myles and Marvin of Baton Rouge; and seven brothers, Frederick Carrier and Hilda of Baton Rouge, Charles Carrier and Denise of Lafayette, Michael Carrier of Detroit, MI, Roderick Carrier and Sandy of Corpus Christi, TX, Wendall Carrier and Rose of Baton Rouge, Chris Carrier and Wanda of Zachary, and Kevin Carrier and AnaK of Lafayette.

"Johnnie" was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Carrier.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 8 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
