Helena Ortego passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2013 at the age of 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 1, 2013 at 11 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Father Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Helena is survived by her husband, Ray Ortego of Eunice; one daughter, Stephanie Harrell and husband Danny of Lafayette; two sons, Steven Ortego and Joel Ortego, both of Eunice; two brothers, Donald Lintzen of Baton Rouge and Lloyd Lintzen of Lake Charles; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, Yves and Beulah Boone Lintzen; one sister, Geneva Manuel; and one brother, Luke Lintzen. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday February 28, 2013 from 10 AM to 9 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed that evening at 7 PM. Visitation will resume at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 9 AM Friday Morning. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
