Helen Ponthier passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at the age of 48. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Helen is survived by her husband, Bobby Ponthier of Eunice; her mother, Anna L. Ardoin of Eunice; one daughter, Christy Dawn Robin and her companion Jason Miller of Eunice; one son, Bobby Paul Ponthier of Eunice; two sisters, Donny Denny and her husband Steve of Chataignier and Mary Lucero of Eunice; three brothers, Willie Lucero and his wife Kelly, Mike Lucero and his wife Dianna, Robert Lucero and his wife Chiquita, all of Eunice; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose G. Lucero. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday January 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 5:00 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
