Hazzy Bellard passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the age of 95. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Basile with Father Keenan Brown officiant. Entombment will follow in St. Augustine Mausoleum. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of Services Thursday at Quirk & Son in Basile. Hazzy is survived by two sons, John Pierre Soileau and wife Audrey, Carl Bellard; three daughters, Alida Comeaux and husband Wilfred, Barbara Lucus, Donna Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton 'Bobby" Bellard; two sons, Wilson Soileau, Steve Soileau; one daughter, Debra Marcantel; her parents, Jean Pierre and Eastman Shuff Guillory; numerous brothers.
