Hazel Manuel Miller passed away on December 7, 2017 at the age of 88. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice. Fr. Matt Hebert will officiate. She is survived by one daughter, Jana Jude M. Richard and husband Scotty of Eunice; two sons, Mark Miller and wife Michelle Ortego of Lafayette, and John Bruce "Jay" Miller and wife Elva Hile of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Madeline Manuel and Farrel Brandin; nine grandchildren, Casey Miller Vaughan, Emma Rose Miller, Molly Michelle Miller, Brett Miller, C. Jaye Miller, Quinn Miller, Wesley Richard, Taylor Richard, and Nick Richard; and one great grandchild, Lucille Hazel Vaughan. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Manuel and Mable Manuel; her husband, Bruce Miller; one sister, Emily Manuel. At the request of the family, visitation will be held Friday December 8, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM by Michelle LeJeune. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 8:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
