Hazel Johnson passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the age of 96 . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 26 , 2019, at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 7:00PM. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Hazel is survived by two sons; Donald Gale "Brud" Arnaud and his companion Shelly, Joseph Ray "Bae Bae" Arnaud, one sister; Ester Derbes, twenty grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren and numerous great -great grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Estave Veillion and Azmia Pitre, her husband, Philmer Johnson, four daughters; Judy Smith, Jeanette Daigle, Geraldine Langley, Pat Coco, numerous brothers and numerous sisters. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
