A funeral service for Hazel Fruge Bourgeois, age 87, will be held on Saturday, November 28, at 1 PM with burial in Ashford Cemetery. Joel Ardoin, will officiate. Hazel was born on September 25,1922 and died on November 26, 2009. She is survied by her daughter, Brenda Elaine Bourgeois McCullough of Eunice; a sister, Rose Broussard of Lafayette. Six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Edith Chapman Fruge; husband, Phillip Mac Bourgeois; daughter, Alice Wynell F. Barzas; grandson, Ansel McCullough; one great great grandchild. Visitation will begin on Friday, Nov. 27 from 10 AM to 10 PM. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday at 8 AM until service time.
