Gregory Michael Deshotel passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the age of 61. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice with Bishop Douglas Deshotel officiating. Burial will follow in Guillory Cemetery in Eunice. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM by Bishop Douglas Deshotel. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Gregory is survived by his wife, Belinda Fontenot Deshotel; one son, Eric M Deshotel; two daughters, Shaunda Thibodeaux and husband Chris, Chasity Deshotel and fiancé Justin Canales; four brothers, Hedrick Deshotel, Sr., Bishop Douglas Deshotel, James Deshotel, Mark Deshotel; one sister, Hadee Hannon; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Lacey, Aidan, Landon, Gavin, Abel, Ava; two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Welfort Paul and Luna Manuel Deshotel; one brother, Duncan Deshotel; one sister, Zelda Deshotel
