Gloria Blanchard Fontenot passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the age of 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Entombment will follow at St Paul Mausoleum. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Gloria is survived by two sons, Craig Fontenot and wife Cindy, Dwayne Fontenot and wife Leslie; one daughter, Phyllis Hargroder and husband Howard; one brother, Rayford Blanchard; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Plenny and Laddie Adel Vidrine Blanchard; her husband, Henry Paul "HP" Fontenot; one son, Robert Fontenot; one daughter, Patricia Fontenot; one granddaughter, Kayla Fontenot and one grandson, Rusty Fontenot.
