One of the good guys. I met Glenn in person for the first time just a couple of months ago for grilled oysters in the French Quarter after a few years of teasing Facebook jabs about living on opposite sides of Canal Street. I have always enjoyed his perspective on things, and appreciate his tough fighting spirit and snarky humor as a weapon against ignorant expression. Politics were supremely important to Glenn, professionally and personally. A person could do no better than to have Glenn fighting in their corner. He probably really hated only a few people, because, I think, he believed all good people could be reformed to a more enlightened viewpoint. I liked Glenn very much, and the planet and this city are diminished by his loss. I shall strive to be more like Glenn, to balance out the difference in the world made by his departure. Farewell my friend.
