Glenda Lou Young passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the age of 76. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of Services on Tuesday. Glenda is survived by one son, Kevin Scott Guillory and his dogs, Yogi and Boba; two daughters, Pamela "Pam" Murphy and husband Benny, Dawn Guillory Bult Prejean and husband Fils; two brothers, Alden Young, Gary Miller and husband Ralph Ostermann; six grandchildren, Deborah Murphy, Jeremy Murphy, Joshua Neil Guillory, Katie Lou Bult, Ashley Marie Prejean, Johnnie Fils Prejean III and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Belvin Joseph Guillory; her fathers, Gerald A Young and Durlin Joseph LeJeune; her mother, Laura Miller LeJeune; son-in-law, Jason Paul Bult; two brothers, Roger Dale Young, Donald Gene Young; one sister, Judy Faye O'pry and sister-in-law, Marilyn Young. Pallbearers will be Joshua Neil Guillory, Johnnie Fils Prejean III, Fils Prejean, Benny Murphy, Jeremy Murphy and Randy McLellen. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Scott Guillory, Joseph Abraham Guillory, Emma Lou Prejean, Rylie Savoie, Jackson Murphy, Jude Murphy and Marlie Savoie.
