Glenda "Sue" Fontenot Smith passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the age of 73. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at First Baptist Chataignier with Reverend Rickey Boone officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Cemetery in Chataignier. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 and will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of departure for Services. "Sue" is survived by two daughters, Maria Mitchell (Sonny) and Joy Bellow (Michael); three brothers, Rev. Dennis Lee Fontenot (Alice), Rev. Roland Paul Fontenot (Sandra), Howard Gregg Fontenot (Michaella); two sisters, Sharon Gail Fontenot (Luke), Deborah Kelly (Rick); eight grandchildren, Brady Mitchell (Cameron), Megan Mitchell, Steven Bellow (Morgan), Matthew Bellow (Olivia), Noah Bellow, Caleb Bellow, Catherine Campbell, Everitt Campbell; three great-grandchildren, Jon-Brady Mitchell, Kerington Mitchell and Lincoln Bellow. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carlene Rene` Ward; her parents, Howard N and Ruth Duplechain Fontenot.
