Gladys Sebastien Ponthier passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the age of 83.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Courville and husband Chris and Vanessa Ponthier; three sons, Kenneth Ponthier and wife Debbie, Michael Ponthier, and Bobby Jean Ponthier; twenty grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; and eleven great great grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Ponthier; her parents, Gilbert and Azema Dupre Sebastien; one daughter, Kathleen Lyons; four brothers, Gilbert, Andrew, Elford and George Sebastien; five sisters, Irona Thibodeaux, Mary Alice Brown, Elda Dupre, Ola Sebastien, and Annie Dupre.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 2:00 PM until time of service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 7:00 PM by Deacon David Guillory.
