Gertie Fontenot Arnold passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the age of 94. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant. Burial will follow in Guillory Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of Services on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Quirk & Son. Gertie is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aduis and Euguis Guillory Fontenot; one brother, Weber Fontenot and one sister, Shirley F. Prather.
