A Mass of Christian Burial for Germaine Bergeron Stagg, age 86, will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Eunice. Monsignor Robert Romero will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM.

Germaine is survived by two sons, Jack Stagg and wife Celeste of Lafayette, LA, and Scott Alan Stagg of Scott, LA; two daughters, Germaine S. Kennon and husband Don of Lafayette, LA, and Cayla Hebert and husband Glenn of Lafayette, LA; a brother, Clifford Bergeron of Port Neches, TX; a sister, Geneva Rozas of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Marie Pousson Bergeron; her husband, Dr. Jack Stagg, Sr.; a brother, Junior Bergeron; two sisters, Norma Simmons and Irma Williams.

Germaine loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She was an avid golfer, Campfire leader, and a loyal member of her card group. Germaine made holidays magical and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
