Geraldine Godeaux passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the age of 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 12:00 PM at St. Thomas Chapel in Eunice. Father Wayne Duet will officiate. Burial will follow at St Thomas Chapel Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice, with a Rosary being prayed at 5:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of service. Geraldine is survived by one son, Carl Godeaux and wife Clarice; three daughters, Tuwana Bellon and husband Dewey, Diana Ardoin and husband Steve Ardoin, Sr., Amber Bellard and husband Frederick Bellard; two sisters, Shirley Conner, Jaunita Davy; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Soileau and Lorena Miller Soileau; her husband, Nelson Godeaux; one daughter, Rhonda Thibodeaux; one brother, L.D. Soileau.
