Gerald Lloyd Fields passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 64. Gerald is survived by his wife, Bernadette Darbonne Fields; four daughters, Beth Sumrall and husband Timothy, Candice Lanthier, Kimberly Miller and husband Robert, Jr., Nichole Fields; three sons, Bruce Fields and wife Deona, Junios Gaspard and wife Megan, Daniel Fields; three step sons, Derrick Gaspard, Michael Gaspard, Jeremy Gaspard; one brother, Edwin Fields; three sisters, Nancy Collins, Sandra Thompson, Phyllis Taylor; nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mable Dilsaver Fields; one brother, Everette Fields and one grandson, Dakota.
