Gerald Adam Benoit passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the age of 74. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM, at which time Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray the rosary, followed by departure for Services. Gerald is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Carriere Benoit; son, Tobby Adam Benoit; daughter, Jennifer Rene Ledet (BJ); two grandchildren, Camellia Jester (Devin), Peytin Arceneaux (Brennon); seven great-grandchildren, Levi, Rhett, Haisley, Avery, Nevaeh, Aliyan and Aiden; four sisters, Wilma Bihm, Jeanelle Johnson, Jeanette Prejean (Darrel), Brenda Benoit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Charlie Benoit and Gladys Marie Cormier Benoit; two brothers, Joe Benoit, Darrell Benoit; five sisters, Ruby Carrol, Wilda Bihm, Judy Miller, Joann Johnson and Linda Daigle.
