Gayle Fruge passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 70. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Cremation will follow Services. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of Services. Gayle is survived by her companion, Philip Myers, one son, Chris Fontenot; two daughters, Denise Gradney (Chad), Candace Granger (Kelly); one brother, Tommy Fruge; nine grandchildren, Darian Fontenot, Audrey Fontenot, Preslie Fontenot, Ashley Freeman, Rylea Gradney, Camryn Gradney, Taylor Silk, Jonas Granger, Julien Granger; seven great-grandchildren, Emma Grace, Ashten, Porter, Marlee, Blakelynn, Denver and Scottlynn. She was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Myers; her parents, Wesley Fruge and Virgie Thibodeaux Fruge; two brothers, Charles LeJeune, Mickey Fruge; one sister, Susan Fruge; two grandchildren, Sadie Fontenot and Chadrick Gradney.
