Fredrick Guillory, born on April 16, 1981, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital at the age of 45. He was a cherished husband, devoted father, loving brother, and a dearly respected member of his extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mathilda Catholic Church. Father Hampton Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mathilda Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Bishop's Ceasar Hall until the time of the funeral Mass.
Fredrick’s life was marked by his dedication to those he held closest. He is survived by his beloved wife, LaDonna Green Guillory, who stood faithfully by his side. Their family includes their son, Fredrick Taylon Guillory, and two daughters, Farah Elisia Guillory and Fajah Kay Guillory, who brought immense joy and pride to Fredrick’s life. The love he had for his family extended further, enriched by the presence of his grandson, Jaiden Charlot, who was a source of the utmost love & delight.
Among those mourning his loss are seven brothers: Otis Guillory; Roy Guillory and his wife Michelle; Nathaniel Ardoin and his wife Tiffany; Jacobian Ardoin; Jock Ardoin; Roy Edwards, Jr.; and John Guillory and his wife Colleen. His five sisters also carry his memory with them—Jameka Wilson, Lainey Sonnier with her wife Mallorie, Victoria Fontenot, LaTrester Brown, and Ariel Guillory. Fredrick’s circle of family also embraced his bonus brother, Charles Anderson, and bonus sister, Brandy Anderson, whose lives were touched deeply by his presence.
He was a cherished godparent to three goddaughters: Addison B. Guillory, Reese Coward, and Sadie Chapman. His many nieces and nephews also remember him fondly, reflecting the wide reach of his kindness and the deep impact he had on his extended family network.
Fredrick was preceded in death by his father, Roy Edwards, Sr., and his mother, Marilyn Elise Guillory, whose memories he honored throughout his life. He was also predeceased by his sister, Lois Guillory, whose absence is deeply felt by all who knew Fredrick.
Fredrick P. Guillory’s passing leaves a profound void, yet his legacy of love, strength, and commitment remains vibrant in the hearts of those who loved him. He was a man who cherished every moment with his family and friends, and his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him. The family and friends of Fredrick extend their deepest gratitude to those who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time.
His memory will live on in the stories shared and the love that endures in the hearts of his surviving family and friends. Fredrick’s life, though too brief, was beautifully lived and will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
