Frank Lawrence Messina passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the age of 78. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur with Father Jay Alexius Celebrant. Cremation will follow Services with interment of his ashes in Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son from noon until 9:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2025, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Frank is survived by his wife, Vanessa "Van" Arnaud Soileau Messina; two sons, Shaun Dale Schultz, Travis Soileau (Monica); five daughters, Angela Mannino (Steve), Rebecca Messina, Julia Higgins (Manuel), Kasey Duos (Saul), Kelli-Jo Soileau (Katie); one sister, Camille Hudson (Samuel); fourteen grandchildren, Lauren, Shaun Dale, Avery, Chase, Macy, Colton, Brennan, Riley, Zayde, Tatum, Gannon, Adelynn, Wylan, Daxin; six great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Maylee, Acyn, Rynlee, Piper and Penelope. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake, F. Messina, Sr. and Dorothy Golden Messina; one brother, Jake F. Messina, Jr. and one son, Jessee Soileau.
