A funeral service for Mrs. Flossie Chaddick Young, 92, will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011,at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Richard at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Brother Orville Rogers will officiate. Flossie passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Young and his wife June of Eunice and Ross Young and his wife Ginger of DeQuincy; 6 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Willie R. Girlinghouse of Bryan, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clannie Young; her daughter, Avis Loretta Young Girlinghouse; her parents, Asa Chaddick and Safroni Lusby Chaddick; five brothers, Griffin, Leonard, Roger, Kelly & George Chaddick; three sisters, Motie Hudson, Annie Robinson & Sara Bellard.
