Florence Guillory Fuselier, born on July 19, 1932, in Basile, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home. She was a devoted homemaker and a faithful servant of the Lord, whose life was marked by love, dedication, and service to her family and community. Florence was a cherished member of the First Pentecostal Church in Pine Prairie, Louisiana, where her faith was a source of strength and comfort.
Throughout her life, Florence was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister. She was especially remembered as a wonderful grandmother, leaving behind precious memories for all who knew her. Florence’s nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, reflecting her deep commitment to her family and her faith.
Florence is survived by her three daughters: Jenny Guidry of Colorado, Louise Christ and her husband Robert of Silsbee, Texas, and Glynis Fournerat of Lafayette, Louisiana. She is also lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of love and warmth.
She was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved grandson, Stephen Guidry; her parents, Onezime Guillory and Mea Langley Guillory; her first husband, Harry Lee Fuselier; her second husband, Leroy Brown; and her six brothers, Clarence Guillory, Floyd Guillory, Norbert Mayence Guillory, Louis Guillory, Gus Vidrine, and Murphy Guillory, all of whom she loved dearly and whose memories she cherished throughout her life.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Florence’s life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Ashford Cemetery. Rev. George Robinson will officiate.
Florence Guillory Fuselier lived a life filled with grace, devotion, and kindness. Her memory will remain a guiding light for her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her unwavering faith and loving nature continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
