Fernella West Richard passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the age of 77. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Monsignor Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 8:00 AM until time of Service. Fern is survived by her husband, Nelson Richard; three sons, Neal Richard and wife Diana, Marcus Richard and wife Laurie, Merle Richard and wife Holly; one brother, Dave McGee; one sister, Joyce Vidrine; six grandchildren, Wesli Ann, Heather Gabriella, Amber Liliana, Nigel Gage Samuel, Finnly Ruth Evena, Kaden Graham and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Esay West; her mother, Evena Fuselier McGee; her step father, Adjust McGee and one brother, Ferrell McGee.
