Felonise "Bea" Richard passed away on January 12, 2013 at the age of 95. A Mass of Christian of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 9 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Father David Hebert will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in Basile. Felonise is survived by one daughter, Beverly Lafleur and husband Harry of Eunice; one son, Leonard Greg Richard of Lake Charles; three sisters, Mattie Ashford of Kinder; Rena Lafleur and Mary Ann Marshall of Wolf City, TX; fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard; her parents, Remie and Attie Marie Young Sonnier; two daughters, Parella Bellon and Brenda Richard; two sons, Harold and Raphael Richard; four brothers, Willie, Mayous, Julius, and Ozime Sonnier; two sisters, Wedna Vidrine and Esse Mae Johnson. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday January 14, 2013 from 9 AM to 9 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Robbie Leger at 6 PM on Monday. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM until service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
