Eve Mire Morgan passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Quirk & Son with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of Services. Eve is survived by one son, James Morgan, Jr.; two daughters, Tammy DeRanger and spouse, RJ Guillory, Tina Bischoff and husband Frederick "Socco"; one brother, James Mire; four grandchildren, Brittany Simmons and husband Morgan, Tiffany Doucet and husband Slade, Michael DeRanger, Jr. and wife Taylor, Courtney Morgan; eight great-grandchildren, Ayden, Rylee, Adalynn, Laikyn, Maverick, Briggs, Brooks and Laurel. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan, Sr.; her parents, Moise and Beulah Sonnier Mire; two brothers, Clarence Mire, Dewey Mire, one sister, Theresa Comeaux and one great grandchild, Ellie Doucet.
