Eva Gradney Alfred passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Mathilda Catholic Church with Father Blaine Clement Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mathilda Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Eva is survived by three daughters, Linda Allison and her husband Tommie, Ida Daigle, JoLean Leger and her husband Arthur; one sister, Margaret Fontenot; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vorice Alfred; her parents, Mose and Ida Jack Gradney; three brothers, Easton Gradney, Sidney Gradney, Adam Gradney; five sisters, Effie Gradney, Ethel Bell, Hilda Lambert; Maloney Coleman and Martha Gradney.
