Etta Marie Thibodeaux Fontenot was born on September 20, 1917 in Church Point, LA and passed away on May 29, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 1, 2012 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home at 2 PM. Brother Ernie Toepher will officiate. Etta is survived by three sons James (Hank) Miller of Eunice, LA, Wayne Miller of Eunice, LA, and Tannis Miller Jr. of Basile, LA; one daughter Laura (Tody) & Johnny Guillory of Church Point, LA; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Claud and Philomen Leblue Thibodeaux; her first husband Tannis Miller Sr.; her second husband Aldes Fontenot Sr.; one daughter Susan F. Berhans; one son Elden (Frenchie) Miller; one brother Willis Thibodeaux; five sisters Dora Fruge, Laura Courville, Eldine Thibodeaux, Hilda Fisher, and Ida Thibodeaux. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 31, 2012 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home from 10 am to 8 PM for visitation. The funeral home will reopen Friday at 8 am until service time.
