A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Ernestine Victorian Leday, 78, on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 11 AM at St. Mathilda Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Fr. Darren Eldridge will officiate. Ernestine passed away at Opelousas General Hospital on Friday, April 2, 2010. She is survived by her son, Francis Leday, Jr. and his wife Valerie of Anchorage, AK; two daughters, Brenda Leday and her husband Monroe of Baton Rouge & LeeAnna Washington & her husband Morris of Houston, TX; sister, Louella Knight of Colorado Springs, CO; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Leday, Sr.; parents, John B. & Sarah Popillion Victorian; four brothers, Arceneaux Victorian, Arcelous Victorian, Caldwell Popillion & Columbus Victorian; two sisters, Christine Daigle & Mary Brignac.
