Dearest Brother Doyle, I thought of you at Christmas, wondering how you and your wife were doing, only to discover that precious Sister Enora had passed away. My ex-husband Glade and I preached at your camp for a week's revival in Deposit.That was many years ago. I would love to speak to you, but cannot find you. I loved Enora, yes her cooking was amazing! She had a funny bone that could make you bust out laughing. I remember her saying, " I put out the Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving. Then she showed me her new wallpaper in the bathroom, and even covered her roller blind with the same wallpaper. You both were such an amazing couple. I think of Sister Sherrie and Brother Ernie often. I remember Sister Enora's Louisiana blood sausage. Just an amazing lady. My heart is full just talking about her! When I was baptized in the river in Deposit, NY, by my brother, Doug, Enora was there with this same smiling face while Doug and my late husband, Earl Hamilton, immersed me in the water. That was an important day for me, and I'm glad I got to share it with Enora. I also treasure the time when Enora and Doug came to my house in Oregon after my husband, Earl passed away. Enora cooked a wonderful meal for us and soothed my soul.

I remember fondly the Christmas when Enora and Doug came to Florida to have Christmas and they came to be with my late husband, Chuck and I. They, April, Andy, Dakota and their little dog came. We were treated to a Cajun Christmas dinner that I'll never forget as she and April cooked in my small kitchen. And I was given budain (sp?) which I loved very much and could not get enough of.

I loved Enora with all my heart. She was so good to my brother. I will always love you, Enora. Until we meet again.
