Enola Darbonne passed away on Thursday July 25, 2013 at the age of 76. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 1 PM at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Father David Hebert will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Enola is survived by three daughters, Debbie Darbonne of Basile, Linda Sellars and husband Douglas of Basile, and Christine Saucier and husband Tim of Lanse Meg; one son, Randy Darbonne and wife Fannie of Basile; and nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beatrice Fontenot Bertrand; her husband, James Burke Darbonne; her sister, Vernice Granger, and her brother, Davis Bertrand. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday July 26, 2013 at 2 PM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Basile. A Rosary will be prayed by Father David Hebert at 6 PM that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM for visitation until time of services. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
