Emma Amy passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013, at the age of 84.

A funeral service will be held at Quirk & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at 11 AM with burial to follow at Carron Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

Emma is survived by two sons, Raymond G. Jeansonne of Eunice, LA and Martin D. Jeansonne of Oberlin, LA; six daughters, Gloria Fuselier of Eunice, LA, Rose Schoeffler of Eunice, LA, Olita Bordelon of Eunice, LA, Margaret Boulet of Eunice, LA, Lorita Raven of Illinois, and Doris Hebert of Eunice, LA; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julien and Olita Dubois Amy; five brothers, Eugene, Joseph, Leopold, John, and Donald Amy.

At the request of the family, a visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 8 AM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 6 PM. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. The funeral home will reopen on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at 8 AM for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
