Emily Alfred passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 76. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eradley Ben, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peters Baptist Church Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of Services. Emily is survived by her significant other, Melvin Henry; three brothers, David Jack, Randy Alfred, Jimmy Alfred; two sisters, Theresa Beverly, Cathleen Scott; her two Godsons, Christoher Williams, Jr., Kendric Williams; four Goddaughters, Mary Lou Jack, Laura Jones, Markita Henry, Darlene Beverly and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Nelson Alfred; her father, Gilbert Alfred; her mother, Gustavia Jack; her brother, Ronald Alfred, Sr.; two sisters, Mary James and Cella Gallow.
