He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Sattler) Cormier of Eunice, La.

Four Daughters, Cora Schultz & husband John of Branch, La. Joyce Brou & husband Glenn of Broussard, La. Barbara Fontenot & husband Deford of Broussard, La. Pam Prather & husband Michael of Crowley, La.

One Son, Elzie Cormier, Jr. & wife Toni of Lafayette, La.

Fourteen grandchildren Seventeen great-grandchildren Pall Bearers, Elzie Cormier, Jr., Michael Prather, Deford Fontenot, Glenn Brou, Brian Schultz, Donnie Fontenot, Hampton Fontenot, & Scott Cormier. Preceded in death by: Parents, Martin & Emma Matte Cormier; Brothers, Evans, Lester, Lannie, Leonard, Amos, & Lawrence Cormier; Sisters, Estelle Courville & Lorice Babineaux; Great grand daughter, Haven Schultz; Great great grand daughter, Ahni Schultz

Visitation is from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2009 with a rosary @ 7:00 PM. Reopen at 8:00 AM Friday. Funeral service will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 2:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2009. Burial to follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata Community, La.
