Elvin Ray Fontenot passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the age of 76. A Graveside Service for interment of his ashes will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Corey Lavergne officiating. Elvin is survived by his wife, Glenda Launey Fontenot; his daughter, Brandy Fontenot; two sons, Taylor Connor and wife Alison; Danny Fontenot; his brother, Allen Fontenot; four sisters, Sandra Wood, Tracey Fontenot, Norma Soileau , Renessa Fontenot; four grandchildren, Gary, Alexus, Brittany, Abigail; five great-grandchildren, Brae'lon, Gage, Enz'lee, Lillian and Cass'lynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curley Fontenot and Eva Fusilier Fontenot.
