Ella Mae Thibodeaux Fontenot passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at the age of 81.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Ella is survived by her husband, Horace Fontenot of Eunice; one daughter, Linda Langley and husband Bubba of Elton; three sons, Bobby Fontenot of Baton Rouge, Gary Fontenot and wife Celina of Chataignier, and Steven Fontenot of Eunice; two brothers, Elton Thibodeaux of Eunice and Newman Thibodeaux of Eunice; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Thibodeaux and Corinne Guidry Thibodeaux; one sister, Joyce Thibodeaux; and five brothers, JB Thibodeaux, Effery Thibodeaux, Clinton Thibodeaux, Nolton Thibodeaux, and Elizey Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday for visitation until the time of service.
