Ella Jean "Butch" Ceaser passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014, at the age of 61.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elton. Fr. Babasino Fernandes will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Elton.

Ella is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Victorian Ceaser of Elton; five sisters, Annie Arvie and husband Allen of Elton, Sylvia Thompson and husband Glenn of Basile, Renee Thomas and husband Calvin Sr. of Mamou, Renell Ceaser of Elton, and Callista Ceaser of Elton; and two brothers, Larry Ceaser and wife Linda of Clute, TX and Hilton Ceaser, Sr. and wife Linda of Elton.

Ella was preceded in death by her father, Paul Ceaser.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Basile. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014, St. Joseph Catholic Church will open at 8 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
