Elaine B. Turk's Obituary
A memorial mass for Elaine Bollich Turk will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009,
at 2 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata.
Elaine Marie Bollich Turk, 74, a native of Mowata and resident of Eunice, died Friday, Oct. 30, at LGMC. Affectionately called "Noonie" by her family, Elaine was devoted to her eight children and grandchildren and enjoyed gardening.
Elaine was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. She is survived by her eight children, 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren: Son Carl Turk of Eunice, his two children, Amitti and Brandon, his wife Cindy and their son Nicholas; Sissy Belfour of Lafayette and her husband Duaine and sons Christopher and Joey; Frank Turk of Houston and his daughter Meagan Dossmann, and his wife, Cathy, and their son Ryan; Judy Granger of Lafayette and her husband Eric and children Erica and Eddie; Dr. Joe Turk of Eunice and his wife Edie and children Edward, Pamela, Stephanie, Alison and Will; Leslie Turk of Lafayette and her daughter Rachel Conques; Dr. Robert Turk of Eunice and his wife Nicole and sons Carl and Morgan and daughter Vanessa; Kathryn Guidry of Yelm, Wash., and her husband Darren and son Robert. Elaine is also survived by her five brothers, Gerald "Mannie" Bollich, Donald Bollich and Greg "Honey Bee" Bollich all of Eunice, Lawrence "Mookie" Bollich of Mowata and Austin Bollich of Cheneyville; six sisters, Loretta Gaspard of Cherokee Village, Ark., Clara "Tay" Miller of Lafayette, Sylvia "Tibbie" Lintzen of Eunice, Barbara "Penny" Lejeune of Egan, Diane Elkins of Denver, Colo.; Judy Hollier of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Carl E. Turk, parents Frank and Barbara Zaunbrecher Bollich Jr., and her twin brother, Elmo Bollich.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 PM on Sunday, November 1 and again on Monday from 8 AM until service time.
