Elaine Simon passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the age of 59. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Basile. Entombment will follow at St Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville, La. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of Services at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Basile, with a Rosary being prayed at 11:30 AM. Elaine is survived by her two daughters, Trephauna Sutherland and husband David, Cesalee Johnson and husband James; three brothers, Flandas Simon, Bervick Simon and wife Fran, Floyd Willis; one sister, Ellen Simon; five grandchildren, Zavier Simon, Tristyn Sutherland, Jordyn Sutherland, Aaron Sutherland, Jaedyn Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Farris and Evell Simon and one sister, Helene Cravins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude's Hospital or The March of Dimes. Pallbearers will be Mark Simon, Bervick Simon,Bervick Simon, Jr. and Brandon Young.
