Edna S. LeBouef Thorton passed away on Thursday August 1, 2013 at the age of 97. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 1 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Frey Cemetery. Edna is survived by four daughters, Alberta Dies of Zachary, Brenda Bridges and husband Wayne of Denham Springs, Joyce Black of MI, and Velma LeBouef of Eunice; one son, Chester LeBouef and wife Linda of Lake Charles; one brother, Vincent Sittig of Eunice; numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous great - great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Carmelet Corkin Sittig; her husband, Anson "Red" LeBouef; one daughter, Juanita Vasseur; one sister, Elba Rougeau; and six brothers, Arcade Sittig, Detroit Sittig, Clement Sittig, CT Sittig, Armand Sittig, and Predose Sittig. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 8 Am to 1 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
