Edlee Simon Manuel, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the age of 68.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Main Celebrant will be his nephew, Matthew Barzare. Fr. Wayne Due will be the Concelebrant and deliver the homily. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum.

Edlee is survived by his wife Becky Manuel of Eunice; his mother, Ruby D. Manuel of Eunice; three daughters, Melissa Burleigh and husband Patrick of Sunset, Marla Favaloro and husband Michael of Paulina; Marcelite Miller and husband Scott of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Gail Barzare and husband David of Eunice and Carla Crisler and husband John of Lafayette; three step-children, Michael Ruppert and wife Hannah of Eunice, Courtney Smith and husband Kyle of Church Point, and Shanna Montgomery and husband Stephen of Basile; nine grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren. Edlee was preceded in death by his father, Edlee S. Manuel, Sr.
