Earlward Young passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the age of 88.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Gary Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Earlward is survived by two sons, Earl "Keith" Young and wife Lisa of Gulfport, MS and Brent Neil Young and fiancé Donna of Eunice; one daughter, Darlene Y. Lavengco and husband Gene of Lake Charles; one brother, Roger Young and wife Nettie of Eunice; two sisters, Ann Lynn Morris of Eunice and Annetta Courtney of La Marque, TX; five grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Earlward was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Young and Effie Smith Young; his wife, Lovinie James Young; two brothers, James Young and Burleigh Young; and one sister, Isabelle Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014, from 3 PM to 9 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 8 AM for visitation until the time of service.
