Earline Smith Fontenot passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the age of 83.

Funeral Services will be held at Niland Funeral Home in Livonia on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 2 p.m. Pastors Dennis and Keith Gotreaux will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Cemetery.

Earline is survived by three sons, Dennis Gotreaux and wife Fay of Eunice, Keith Gotreaux and wife Kathy of Eunice, and Daniel Gotreaux and wife Tina of Eunice; two brothers, Rufus Smith of Fordoche and Ulysse Smith, Jr. of Fordoche; five sisters, Bessie Rinauto of Baton Rouge, Lorita Doucet of Fordoche, Lucy Bates of Fordoche, Georgia Johnson of Livonia, and Sylvia Perricone of Fordoche; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysse Smith, Sr. and Edna Gros Smith; one daughter, Yvonne Veillon; one granddaughter, Dana Floyd; and one sister, Audrey St. Romain.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. On Friday, June 19, 2015, visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Niland Funeral Home in Livonia.
