Earl Bertrand passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the age of 78. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with his brothers Ferran and Ted Bertrand officiating. Cremation will follow. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Quirk & Son. Earl and his wife, Kay, shared forty years together. He served in the US Army for three years. Earl was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Earl is survived by his wife, Kay Stanford Bertrand; two sons, Derrick Menier and wife April, David Bertrand and wife Virgie; two daughters, Ashley Bertrand, Nichole Sylvester and husband Phil; two brothers, Ferran Bertrand and wife Linda, Ted Bertrand and wife Pam; two sisters, Jeanette Lafleur and husband Vern, Juanita Messer; ten grandchildren, Whitney Glenn, Casey Brouillette and husband Trent, Alex Bertrand, Zachary Sylvester and wife Hannah, Chase Sylvester, Lane Sylvester, Haden Sylvester, Angel Menier, Destiny Menier, Parker Bertrand; three great-grandchildren, Taliah Brouillette, Johnathan Sylvester and Eleanor Sylvester. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Bertrand; his parents, Albert and Emily Granger Bertrand and his in-laws, Patrick and Mercy Stanford.
