Dula Williams passed away on Wednesday December 4, 2013 at the age of 69. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon Chuck Ortego will officiate. Burial will follow at Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg. Dula is survived by her husband, Joel A. Williams of Chataignier; one son, Eric Soileau of Basile; one brother, John B. Duplechain of Eunice; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolzy and Beulah Bezas Duplechain; and one brother, Raymond Duplechain. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. until time of services. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
