Dorothy Arnold Amy passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the age of 83.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 10:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Dorothy is survived by one son, Bobby Joe Vasseur of Church Point; one daughter, Penny Joubert; one brother, James F. Arnold; one sister, Laura Fruge; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Irving Arnold and Evelyn Johnson; one daughter, Laura Mae Miller; one son, Nicky Reed; three brothers, Herbert, R.D., and Leroy Arnold; one sister, Mary Roy.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00 AM for visitation until the time of service.
