Doris Reese Stagg passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the age of 102.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Moffett will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Earl Ray Stagg, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Lake Charles; and three grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ray Stagg, Sr.; her parents, William G. Reese, Sr. and Ruby McDowell Reese; three brothers, William "WG" Reese, Jr., Robert Reese, and James Reese; two sisters, Hazel Pott and Francis Huckaby.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.

Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
