A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, April 11, 2011, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell with burial at St. Bridget Cemetery. Fr. Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church, will officiate. Dora passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Matte and her husband Glenn of Opelousas and Lora Ortego and her husband Kevin of Basile; three sons, Douglas Stanford and his wife Brenda of Ville Platte, Ray Stanford of Mamou and Don Stanford and his wife Myriam of Opelousas; three sisters Vivian Faul of Opelousas, Dolores Meche of Lafayette and Olivia Labbe of Opelousas; 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verland Stanford; parents, Leslie and Emmerthile Doucet Prudhomme; a grand son , Shane Stanford; four brothers, L.G., Raphael, Wilfred , Gerald and Warren Prudhomme. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday evening at 6 PM by Fr. Brain Taylor.
