Donald Butch James Ashford passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the age of 67.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 10:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church in Duralde. Deacon Jim Cormier will officiate. Burial will follow at Ashford Cemetery in Basile.

Donald is survived by his mother, Willie Mae Moreau Fontenot of Eunice; his wife, Mary Helen Ashford of Ville Platte; one step-son, Herman David Hutchinson and wife Helen Sweetwater, TN; one step-daughter, Debbie Darlene Wrinkle of Mabank, TX; one brother, Farrell Ashford and wife Monica of Duralde; one sister, Connie Sanders of Eunice; six grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Raoula Ashford; one step-son, John Edward Hutchinson; one step-daughter, Lori Gail Belleau.

At the request of the family, a rosary will be prayed on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 9:30 AM.
